Engine looks good. Freshly removed from the ghia and pressure washed.

Lowering the engine took a little planning. After measuring the height of my jack I guessed that I needed the bottom of the ghia 2',6" above the floor. when I removed the engine I had 1/2" to spare.

I don't know who this guy is or what he has done to this engine but I'm thinking this is my goal.

The Engine will not turn over when I hit the Key. It's an Electrical issue or the starter is shot. The Engine turns over by hand. So- to start the "restoration" I might as well drop the engine. My plan is to rebuild the engine this winter.

It's not much to look at but it's a start.
